Amanda is an upstate New York native who received an undergraduate education from the State University of New York at Buffalo in Anthropology. She then pursued a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University and graduated in 2011.
After graduation, Amanda worked in a continuing-care retirement community, providing outpatient geriatric rehab, with a special emphasis on fall prevention, chronic pain and spinal pain management. Amanda joined the OSC team in 2014 and has been working to expand her use of manual therapy, the McKenzie technique and therapeutic exercise for treatment of spinal and orthopaedic pathology. In 2014, Amanda also became a provider of Functional Dry Needling through KinetaCore® and is excited to add this technique to her physical therapy practice.
