OSC Installs Advanced Konica X-ray Technology for Improved Patient Safety and Faster Diagnostics

Orthopaedic & Spine Center has installed two KDR™ Advanced U-Arm (AU) Systems from Konica Minolta to improve diagnostic imaging while providing a safer, lower radiation dose to our patients during x-ray.
These 3rd generation U-Arm X-ray machines benefit our patients by:
• Providing our physicians with radiologic images of exceptional clarity
• Expediting images for quicker diagnoses of orthopaedic conditions
• Valuing our patients by decreasing their wait time for imaging studies
• Lowering the radiation exposure for patients with every image
• Elevating the patient experience – the imaging system auto-positions and moves around the patient, minimizing the need for patient re-positioning, for more patient comfort
• “Stitching” – the system automatically joins or “stitches” a sequence of images together for the most accurate full-length x-ray views of the spine or leg length
• Alerting for pediatric exams - Image Gently™ Certified Software
